About the Job

All-Ways Elevator, Inc. is a locally owned and operated, full-service elevator company specializing in installations, modernizations, service, and repairs for both commercial and residential clients. We are currently seeking a Service Manager to lead our rapidly growing service department.

This is a mission-critical leadership role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be the engine of our service operations, ensuring our clients receive unmatched support while leading a dedicated team of technicians and support staff. What You'll Do

  • Departmental Leadership: Manage the Service Department staff, conduct performance evaluations, and assist in resolving employee concerns.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor the daily "shut down" list to return units to service promptly and ensure all monthly maintenance tickets are completed.
  • Schedule & Route Management: Manage technician routes, adjusting for new units or staff, and coordinating with the Field Service Manager regarding field employee time off.
  • 24/7 Service Coordination: Oversee after-hour calls and 24/7 service response, ensuring all data is entered into company software and clients are contacted.
  • Financial & Contract Liaison: Review billing for service calls/repairs, determine contract coverage for follow-up tickets, and coordinate with Sales to ensure timely repair proposals.
  • Quality Control: Analyze service call history reports to identify trends, take corrective actions, and work with the Field Service Manager to ensure weekly "Tool Box Talks" are completed.
  • Customer Relations: Identify and resolve customer complaints professionally to ensure maximum satisfaction and client longevity.

You Should Have

  • Industry Experience: Previous employment in the trade service industry is a must.
  • Management Expertise: 3–5 years of management experience in a fast-paced setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to track and analyze KPIs.
  • Communication: Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to delegate, improve, and prioritize effectively.
  • General Qualifications: A high school diploma and a valid/clean driver’s license.
  • Positive Mindset: A proactive, "can-do" attitude with the proven ability to meet project demands independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
